We live in the Baton Rouge area and had no idea we had such a great place to camp until we visited the Atchafalaya Basin Visitor's Center one day. The campground is great! Lots of room, full hook-ups, pool, laundry - WOW lots of amenities and very reasonably priced. It's a great hideaway for us for the weekend just to get away from the hussle and bustle of life. There are activities going on all the time - I just can say enough about how much we enjoy camping there!
